Default AKo w/position vs. a TAG

Villain is a tag but I dont remember the stats except I have played ~1k hands with him.

Party NL$100 10 handed atm, I have $125 he has me covered

He raises UTG to $4, one caller, I cc, the rest fold. 3 to the flop.

Flop is Ac Qc xo, I have the Kc

he checks, I bet 10, he calls

Turn is another club

he checks, cold caller, I bet 25, he calls, coldcaller folds

Turn is another card but not a club or straightening card

he checks, i check

Standard and boring?

Chop?

I think betting the turn and checking behind can be mixed up, depending on previous play with villain and CCer. More betting than checking, but you can mix it up if you have seen either of them make a big CR before, so you don't get blown off of what has become a beautiful hand on the turn.

Not quite. He had AA. I was hoping he had KK and thought I was position betting but once he calls the turn I know he doesn't have KK since he doesn't have the Kc so either AK/AQs/AA/QQ. I lose/chop to them all.

this is pretty standard. the way i see it u either check the turn and call/value bet or bet the turn and take a free showdown unimproved...
