Re: Denny Crum 189th at WSOP
It is.
I met Denny last December when I was invited to play golf by Len Miller, and Denny was one of the foursome. Len is the owner of the Oceanside Card Club, and was also a basketball coach, and friend of Denny. We played at Shadow Creek, and had a great time. Denny is a very nice guy, but you could see his competitiveness throughout our round, which was for a $50 bet. I suspect he would have tried as hard to win $5 or $500,000. Denny came up to me yesterday after I got knocked out of the first event, and asked me if I had seen Len, as they were supposed to meet there. Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan) |

Denny Crum
About 2 months ago, channel 32 the Louisville CBS affiliate did a story on Denny Crum and his poker playing hobby. Showed him playing online and he said he would be playing in the main event of the WSOP this year. I played with him last month at the Derby Clash 1k Buyin at Caesars Indiana.
