Not the 55 hand, the A4o hand

[/ QUOTE ]

Because A4o sucks against one limper, unless he regularly calls and then folds, and A4o really isn't a great hand to be bloating the pot with since you'll usually be seeing this pot 3-handed or 4-handed?

A9o is my personal cutoff for a raise here; I'd raise A7s+ as well. A4o just doesn't hit enough flops to be worth 2SB preflop.

Cool, keep em coming Good way for all of us to see where our leaks are.

Here's my blind responses:

1. folds
2. raises
3. folds/raises depending on reads of mp & bb (will they fold to my flop bet if they miss?)
4. calls in a loose/passive game, raises in a tight game, folds in an average game
5. raises
6. calls
7. calls
8. folds
9. calls
10. calls
11. raises/folds depending on table and your image
12. calls
13. calls/folds
14. folds
15. calls
16. folds
17. calls (and probably check/raises a favorable flop)
18. same as the 55 question
19. folds
20. calls/folds

Never open limp at 6 max.

I think this maxim is a little bit of an exaggeration.

You certainly should not be open limping with any regularity, but I can see open limping UTG or even UTG+1 with low pairs on a passive table.

This is pretty much where I was coming from, most of the tables I seem to end up at don't believe in pfr. I'd say it's 99%/1% open-raise/open-limp.

1: fold.
2: raise.
3: raise or fold depending on blinds. usually fold.
4: depends on table. i raise or fold, probably about half and half.
5: depends on button/blinds, but i end up raising ~65-70% of the time.
6: raising 80-90% of the time.
7: call. i don't always raise the first time either.
8: blind dependent. i fold it more than i raise, though.
9: complete with passive bb.
10: same as above.
11: raise. i don't raise QTo there anymore (i used to).
12: i'd call most of the time. i'd call every time if it were a steal attempt.
13: one more coldcaller and i'm easily in - that said i might call this anyway.
14: i fold most always.
15: fold.
16: fold.
17: raise or complete. complete more often probably.
18: raise at most tables, fold at some (loose table with a maniac or two behind me).
19: easy fold.
20: fold.

Default Question on hand 17

There were already a lot of responses by the time I saw the quiz, so I won't add my answers (pretty much in agreement with all the responses I read, anyway, fortunately ).

I was actually debating one of two responses for #17:

[ QUOTE ]
Hand 17:
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, K.
2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, HERO?

[/ QUOTE ]

My first reaction was to complete, but does anyone like a raise to try getting HU against CO? Of course it would be nice to have a little more high card strength or suitedness, but I figure if CO had a strong hand, he'd be raising first in (with no reads). Is there any edge here at all to push?

Droolie, I want you to keep it coming, that way it won't look so bad when I start 6-max spamming. It seems there are a lot of us doing 6-max so I don't see what the problem is, as long as we clearly state in the title the 6-max content.

Hand 1: This is very read dependant. With no reads, say this is the very first hand I've had the BB, I'm folding.

Hand 2: Raise it up, odds are we're going to flop to something good or something good to draw to. For the record, if this was offsuit, and there was just 1 more limper, I'd just call. Our edge isn't that great and we will be out of position.

Hand 3: This is another read dependant one. If MP is bad(open limpers most times are) and BB is weak, I'll raise it up to try and fold BB. Otherwise I fold.

Hand 4: Raise

Hand 5: Fold

Hand 6: Raise

Hand 7: Call. This is just liked talked about in your last thread, where you see re-steal attempts everytime the BB 3-bets you. Unless this guy is a proven maniac your better off seeing a Flop, and evaluating from there.

Hand 8: Fold

Hand 9: If button doesn't raise a lot of hands on average, I'll complete getting 5-1

Hand 10: Same as 9

Hand 11: Raise

Hand 12: Fold usually.

Hand 13: Fold definitely

Hand 14: Fold

Hand 15: Fold. If it was 9To I might call.

Hand 16: Fold

Hand 17: Same as Hand 3.

Hand 18: Tight table this is the cutoff where I raise UTG, at a looser table I fold.

Hand 19: Usually fold.

Hand 20: If the blinds aren't raising a lot of hands I'll limp, otherwise fold.
