Unfortunately, it's NOT the end of it. Don't you remember like 3-4 years ago some kid was paralyzed? Some schools just do not have the ability to protect the goalposts when you have hundreds of kids rushing it.

Clearly, American football must be banned as a sport or at least have the goal posts permanently removed.

There is a very simple solution…Arm every rent-a-cop with massive amounts of pepper spray. That way even the students that think about rushing will be sprayed, even 10 rows deep even though they spent a week camping out for the seats.

how can you say unfortunately. a lot of the best moments in college football are when students rush the field after big games. Cal/stanford is the first one that pops in mind...and i'm sure there are countless others, but my brain is having an off day.

Like cutting down the nets in college b-ball. I think this is a great tradition that ended up being horribly overused. It should only be reserved for special occasions, not any upset at home.
