Hanging up the gloves

I have decided that it is best for me to step down as a Mod, and become much less active at 2+2. I will make it very frank.

As I am rising up on the tournament scene, I now realize it is a bad idea to state my opinions over too many different scenerios, and modding makes it that much more risky. People will be rubbed different ways by what I say, since I am a very confiedent person, and I usually don't hold anything back. I do not want to be apart of the drama, and hear accusations by posters.

I will still be posting here, but in much much less proportions. I am sory I have to do this, but I think it is best.

It is good that you took time to carefully think through this decision instead of acting rashly.

Seriously, Josh, you've done a fine job so far. You're still learning what is acceptable in terms of moderator actions. See this one through. Don't quit just because a couple of posters don't like the decisions you've made. And don't quit because "I am rising up on the tournament scene, I now realize it is a bad idea to state my opinions over too many different scenerios." That's just silly.

Thanks Card, but I really think this is the best thing for me. My personality is very strong and decisive, and I am not willing to deal with the drama that comes along with it.

I have thought this through, and have come to the conclusion that I can still be a poster here without being a mod, posting *Official* threads, etc.

I think you do yourself a strong diservice if you really think that the issues you had with other posters were simply a result of your "strong and decisive" personality.

You acted immature, defensive, and let your ego get in the way of your responsibilities as a moderator. I don't say this as an insult, but as a honest attempt to help you understand why you kept running into beef with people.
