Default Shortest night ever.

Party 3/6 last night. I feel like [censored] but decide to play a little anyways.

5 hands played. 3 flops seen. K high flush, Aces full of 9s, and top 2 pair w/ Ks and Qs. 6 min played $139 profit.

I decide the poker gods want me to call it a night early and I log off for the night. Yay!

Last night was the same. I decide to take the night off, but figured i'd paly an orbit or two while my wife put the kid to bed. Party 5/10 I post in the CO, AQs, flush comes in one the river. Next had A 10s this time I turn the flush. Next hand QQ, it holds up. I fold until the blinds reach me and got to bed up 42BB.

I don't see how it belongs in Beginners or Internet Gambling any more than it belongs here. It was a small stakes game after all.

While you are a great poster and have helped me personally a lot with your posts, you aren't my dad, nor the moderator, nor the police, nor the government. So while you felt the need to direct me to post else where, I'll go ahead and exercise my right to pretty much ignore it. Thanks.

I don't think that's what he meant and his post below yours makes it clear that he didn't. Honestly it was just a funny/fun/cool (for me at least) experience and I felt like sharing it. I personally expected it to scroll off into the abyss quickly.

Actually, "why bother posting this" is exactly what I was communicating.

We just had a giant thread about making the small stakes forum a better forum. In the past, I might have responded to your post with "Dear LiveJournal, this one time, I won 3 hands." but I wanted to be a little clearer in expressing a solution in addition to contempt.

Your experience was funny/fun/cool for you at least and for you at most. Over time, I hope that fear of my sarcasm and disdain will allow you to refrain from contentless, uninteresting posts which amount to little more than "hey guys, I just took a really satisfying dump."
