Default wsop on dvd 19 years? whats up

if you look around on ebay you'll see plenty of people selling a boatload of wsop tapings (not sure if all of them) but getting a large collection of previous wsops would be something i'd like (even if it does have "hole cams"). Has something like this ever been released? or are these shoddy vhs rips burned on dvd-r's? anyone happen to have ordered one of these?

regards,
bonanz

Gonna bump this as I'm also intersted. My eyes popped out when I saw this on Ebay.

But the fact that nobody is piping in leads me to believe that this thing is "homemade"

Yes, Dvd's prolly ripped from the tape footage, which I hear is wildly uneven at best. Amazing how much diffierent it is not being able to see their hole cards.

I have the WSOP's from 93','94,'95,(not '96-wasn't available...don't know why)and '97 through '01 all on VHS.

The tape quality leaves something to be desired, esp. in the earlier years ('93-'95 remind me of 70's porn movie quality )

'97 and '98 are Espn copies, and '99-'01 were done by the Discovery crew. (phone number listed on tape is 1-800-475-6636)

If I remember correctly I ordered them through Conjelco, but when I go to the website, they no longer seem to be available.

You might go to their site anyway and try and get in touch with Chuck Weinstock via email weinstock@conjelco.com .

www.conjelco.com

Hope this helps in your quest.
