Default KK big pot - Lots of resistance (PS3/6)

Pretty good table, they are all loose

Hero raises, MP calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (10 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, MP folds, CO calls, SB calls, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, CO calls, SB calls.

Turn: (11 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, CO folds, SB calls, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

River: (20 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks.

Is this a text book example of when to wait to raise the turn? So many draws, but a huge pot.

I like it. I think you should bet the river.

Bet the river and get called by JT.

Hi Spook-

Bet the river. BB has been betting this all the way through and now suddenly throws on the brakes. This reeks of a busted two pair. If he's trying to be tricky and pull a checkraise on you on the river, fine, but I think you'll see a busted two pair most of the time here, and he's almost certain to pay you off.

I like how you played the rest of the hand, by the way. Forcing opponents to call two cold gives incorrect odds for gutshots and meager odds for bottom pair - this is your biggest worry anyway, as you aren't ever folding out a flush draw or OESD.

I agree. Are we folding to SB's check raise?

If it was just the BB, yes this would be a very easy river bet. Most likely he flopped 2 pair that just got conterfieted.

What do you put the SB on? He has called 2 cold over and over. Most likely holding is the flush that just came in. If you bet and he raises can you fold?

I don't see a lot of value in this value bet.

Yes, I'd fold if he's not retarded.
He could draw with flush/OESD or just one pair (if he's a donk). Only the flush beats us.

Up until the river, it sure looks like he has a flush or OESD. If he does check raise you, and BB folds, are you really folding? I think folding is probably the right move, but damn, getting 23:1, that is really hard. We don't really have any reads, so we don't know if he is retarded or not. Could he possibly be doing this in some crazy attempt at a big pot with a busted OESD or something else?

I think we are almost certainly beat if the SB check raises us, but I would find it a bit difficult to fold (even though theoretically it seems right).
