Don't do anything that could weigh on your mind if the worst wuld happen. Calling him an ambulance and hitting your own flight is the safest (from your perspective) thing to do. If he misses his midterm he will have an emergency room reciept to show for it which should help him to get a makeup. (this should also work on the airline).
The two dangers are him choking on his own vomit, and him bashing his head when he staggars around the bathroom drunk, or extremly dehydrated.

then

if you dont have any pressing matters at home, suck it up and change YOUR flight (at his expense, whether or not you can afford it is irrelevnet)

or

pay a 2+2er to watch him for the next 6 hours. wake him up after 3 hours and force him to drink a lot of water, then again after another 3. again, ggban pays for this.
