Default at bellagio NL game, why no limit to buy in?

i don't understand why they do not limit the buy in at the 10-20 blind NL game. you can buy in for 2K, 10K, 20K, 100K or whatever you want....doesn't this give big edge to the large buy ins? or is it better not to be too deep stacked?

because poker with 300+ BB is infinitely more sweet than a capped buyin game.

Bit of a hijack... are there any online sites that don't do maximum buy-ins? I really wanna practice deep stack poker.

el diablo has mentioned that UB has some small games w/ no cap...

id appreciate if any1 who knows of an online game w/ blinds of at least $2/4 (the higher, thew better) w/ no cap would post here.

we should have a private 2+2 deep game sometime. maybe on stars, where everyone agrees to do the rebuy trick 5 times, until everyone has 500 BB.

would definitely be fun, and perhaps some interesting hands between the different posters could result in some good discussion.

good idea?

If there's only one super-big stack at the table.. it doesn't matter at all obviously. Although I guess if you're uncomfortable playing very deep, you'd have to cash out once your stack got to a certain size.

If there are two big stacks at the table, their strategy against each other should be very different than their strategy against you, and you can exploit that very easily. For an extreme example, let's say you have 10BB and pick up AA; UTG (1kBB) raises to 3xBB and you push. Button (1kBB) has 67s. Clearly, you want a call from button, and because they're so deep, you probably get it as implied odds are huge.
