Default Anyone else try this strategy?

When I just sit down to a 200NL table, I raise the first five hands I get to 2-3x the BB, and show my garbage hands if everyone folds preflop. Then I settle down a bit more and play TAG, but everyone else pegs me as a loose fish. They already have it stuck in they're minds that I call/raise with everything and they give my bets no respect. All it cost me is risking a few dollars right when I sit down, and it makes me that money back ten fold when I hold AK and the flop is AK4, and I raise $100 and people are calling with JJ and AJ. By playing stupid/loose in the beginning it guarantees that I can bet 5-10x what is appropriate and still get callers. Even when I'm doubling and tripling up, people can't seem to forget those first few hands when I played really loose and fast. Any thoughts on this strategy?

Most people don't give a damn .. at least in ring games. So you shouldn't care that much about table image. If you are playing with guys who do, find a better table.

If the table folds to 2-3x BB find a better table to begin with. If it works great.

Unless you play against the dumbest players on earth, they probably know exactly what you're doing and you're just making yourself look retarded by doing this.

I'm stuck on my laptop right now which isn't great for multitabling, so I only play 2 tables right now.
