The Blue Man group is really a great show for all ages.

NO IT'S NOT!!!

I love the BMG, but it's too loud, and too rockin', for old people.

Send your parents to Wayne Newton, while you go to the Luxor for BMG.

As far as food, I make it a point to go to the Buffet at Paris...it's a bit pricey, but well worth it for what you get...especially good for mornings or lunch.

As far as attractions, the Bellagio is worth going just to walk around and feel like a million bucks. The Mirage volcano is cool, and I personally like the The Mirage's atmosphere, anyway...kinda laid back.

Not a big fan of the Luxor, but it is impressive the first time you walk in(atrium).

Must go to Forum Shops...one of the best shopping places I know

3) Attractions. I was thinking Hoover Dam is probably worth seeing. Any other museums/exhibitions, etc. in or around LV you could recommend?

There have been more than a few posts in thread disparaging "old" people. He said mid 50's! That aint old kids. I'm 51 and Wayne Newton would make me puke. I've got Metallica playing right now pretty loudly.

You punks don't know what old is

Just checked this forum, and saw my thread is still alive!

Anyway, we stayed at the Bellagio (good deal for around $120 or so/night) and that ruined all other hotels for me. We mostly ate at the Bellagio & Paris buffet, and they (especially Bellagio's) ruined all other buffets for me.

Red Rock Canyon was a great hit with everyone, as was KA (the new Cirque du Solieil show in MGM, O was booked solid). I thought KA beat the crap out of Mystere. Drinks at the Stratosphere was also a great idea, and the night view of the strip was down right amazing.

I got to oogle the high limit game at the Bellagio (saw Phil Ivey and Dan N, Phil was still in the same seat the next morning when I went by there again, around 12 hours later), but unfortunately my bankroll was not enough to cover the buy in, so I had to pass.

Thanks again.
