Default Paying too much for car insurance?

Ok, seriously, I don't want to come off as a shill, and I hate those GEICO commercials and figured them to be BS anyway.

BUT...

Out of curiosity I filled out their quote form online, and was surprised. A better policy than I currently carry was only half as much.

I only carry state mandated minimums at Progressive, will upgrade that to the next highest level, plus personal injury and underinsured driver coverage. And I'll still save over $500 a year.

So anyway, I figure maybe it's the company, or maybe my driving record improved over the years and Progressive just "failed" to give me better rates, but whatever.

Moral of the story: If you haven't shopped around for car insurance lately, you should.

Now...what to do with this extra $500? Hmmm...

I got some good news, and I got some bad news... The bad news is I'm shuttin' down the studio. The good news is I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance! Farnsworth!
