Default KTo

Canterbury 30/60 5 handed
Hero is BB with KTo.
Button is LAGgy. IMO his ATT steal is at least 40%. SB is loose and scared of hero .

Folds to button who opens. SB calls, Hero calls in BB with KTo.

Flop 3 ways: Q94r
SB checks, Hero bets, button raises, SB folds, Hero calls.

Villains raise here is almost standard, so it means very little.

Turn: A completing rainbow.
Hero checks, button bets, Hero raises, button calls.

River: Q

Hero bets. thoughts?

Will he fold a pair? if he is the sort that will steal with anything but as soon as the have a pair, they are going to showdown no matter what.

I doubt he folds an Ace and he wont fold the Q, so that leaves pockets pairs and a 9, everything else you beat, his range is so big and you have K high, i have no problems check folding this on the turn.

Why the check-raise on the turn? Why not just bet out, or would this villain typically raise you here just for spite? Since villian only called your CR on the turn, I feel the river bet is good aggression. If villian raises, I dump it. There's a good chance villain is on K9 or JT (if he's like may of the LAGs I've played lately). There's an equal chance he's on KQ, QT, or even Qx. Hell, a lot of the LAGs I've seen would play T9 like this. Your only chance to win this is to bet the river and hope villain folds, but you're probably behind here more often than you're ahead IMO. Then again, "read" is everything...

BK must have been hero in this hand ? No wonder he lost over 50BBs in that game today
