But it makes it so much easier. I think after you start up a set of 8, you should designate 4 to be in set 1 and 4 to be in set 2 so that this problem is forever solved.

It depends on if they were 4 that you started in a row. Winning 1,4,6,and 8 is not a slam but 1,2,3,4 is. I also feel that 3,4,5,6 is a slam.

No way. If 3,4,5,6 is a slam, then a 4-tabler should count it if he gets 3,4 in one set and 1,2 in the next.
I'm putting my foot down here: it's only a slam for an 8-tabler if he gets 1,2,3,4 or 5,6,7,8.

Assuming even finish distribution, the chance of winning each tournament in a set of 4 is .01%. On the other hand, the chance of winning 4 out of a set of 8 is .46%. You can't call that a grand slam when it is 46 times as likely to happen. The 3,4,5,6 or 2,3,4,5, etc, argument is bad too. This scenerario is 3 times as likely to happen as winning a set of 4.

If i see 4 finish in a row, and they all are 1sts, thats a gran slam. To me anyways. I claim it. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] Sure its somewhat more probable with many games in sets, the ITMs are all bunched up. But its still super rare, for me anyways.
Im a singles hitter, man ....usually one out of a set is a 1st. SOme sets are doubles, odd triple...homerun. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Is getting 4 in a row, 3 in a row, 2in a row on the same day considered hitting for the cycle? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
