Re: Pot-Limit Omaha/8 - lots of misstakes?
I would not have played the hand -- particularly after the raise pre-flop -- but after that I think you played it right. You need to bet large after the flop to get out the lows and try to get rid of flush draws. I would also have bet big on the turn, as you did to try to drive the BB out.

Re: Pot-Limit Omaha/8 - lots of misstakes?
Fold pre flop, a hand like that is playable from late position for a limp, since you're looking for a K66 type flop to get your money in.

[ QUOTE ]
Shoud I ever have played the hand from the beginning? [/ QUOTE ] I would fold this hand under the gun. Your four cards are not well coordinated and you have no chance at making a low. [ QUOTE ] And what about the call? [/ QUOTE ] If it is not good enough to call the big blind, it is not good enough to call a pot size raise. [ QUOTE ] My raise seems correct for me. [/ QUOTE ] It looks good to me. You get rid of the back door draws. [ QUOTE ] Should I have slowed down with two lows and two hearts on the board? [/ QUOTE ] You currently hold the nuts and are likely the favorite to win high. Make your opponent pay to draw out on you. |

Re: Pot-Limit Omaha/8 - lots of misstakes?
Thanks for your answers guys. I guessed they where going to be somewhat sceptical. Espacially about the preflop call i did.
I need to build more knowledge at microlimits. Good that they exists. //Pug |
