Default Arlen Spector is an idiot.

Sen. Arlen Spector says that T.O. was treated unfairly, and he might refer the matter to the Senate Judiciary Committee for an anti-trust investigation. Story here.

[ QUOTE ]
Specter, who chairs the Judiciary Committee, said at a news conference Monday in Harrisburg it was "vindictive and inappropriate" for the league and the Eagles to forbid the star wide receiver from playing and prevent other teams from talking to him.

"It's a restraint of trade for them to do that, and the thought crosses my mind, it might be a violation of antitrust laws," Specter said.

[/ QUOTE ]

If a thought ever crossed this guy's mind, it died of loneliness. It's a labor dispute, and the Eagles are paying T.O.'s salary. This isn't big oil or drug price gouging.

The people of Pennsylvania should pay Spector's salary and tell him to stay home. Why is this the Senate's business? Why are steroids the Senate's business? Don't Senators have real work to do?

Duh, of course he is an idiot. He is the person who came up with the single bullet theory for the JFK assassination.

I don't know man. This might be for the politics forum but this whole senate getting involved in sports is really pissing me off.
