about my 8-10th hand at the table, my image is semi-Lag-ish, I've raised the last 3 hands pre flop and taken it down on the flop or turn uncontested. I think this guy's semi bluffing the turn with the flush draw, and when it misses he takes a shot at it ( I see a J value betting for 20-ish )

but anyway...the push back was mostly instinct I didn't really think it through stack size wise it was 20 something more to him in a fairly large pot, on the off-chance that he does have a lower pair or did hit a Q on the riv, do you think my push is still a worthwhile move to make and what does everyone else do differently. (dropping it on the turn etc.)

Just call river (even if I prefer a fold with that lack of reads), even if the stacks was deeper.

Fold to the turn bet (or make your push there if you feel the need to bluff). As played you have to fold that river. Don't fall in love with AK, especially when the board pairs Broadway cards. Villain is not representing the flush, but the J, since he woke up on the turn. I don't see him him folding here.

I think this is a horrible play as many party players will play a J just like this, and nobody is ever folding one here

I think you get called here most of the time. If you really think the guy is betting a flush draw, you have to raise the turn big, but I find this unlikely. Your opponent probably has three jacks.

Default resuuuuults

I don't know about three Jacks...I still can't see it...if he has a J I doubt I'd see a pot bet on river..anyway he called and flipped over A4 of clubs, low pair and i'm still scratchin my head.

Both your play and his play is so out there it seems like neither one of you even looked at the board.

Do you just fold there and always assume they have it?
