Flop: K 7 K with two hearts.
I check/call.

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet.

I like this line: fold preflop, fold flop, fold turn.

I just check and fold personally. Extract money when I make a hand. Given the board I don't think villian has 2 cards that he'll fold enough of the time for this to work. And I don't know about the others here but against an unknown opener from the button the PF call is standard for me.

I think the preflop call is fine but I doubt you win this hand often enough, including your plan to bluff later, to put any more money in. I don't think he'll fold A high or a pair.

Ugh. If you're considering folding against an unknown's button openraise, he must have a pretty tight range, right? So why are you trying to bluff him here??

Also, don't consider folding preflop.

as allin said the preflop call is good. i also think its extremely silly to attempt delayed bluffs out of position, especially when the board is paired. people dont fold ace high on paired boards. if you checkraised the flop and he had ace high he is probably showing it down. just fold and move on. attempt to make these type of bluffs at unpaired boards.

call pf, check fold the flop. simple as that.

but if you're going to call the flop, you should probably checkraise the turn because i think that play will work better against an "unknown." it's the typical line to take when a fish flops trips (not that you are a fish but you are unknown so he may as well consider you one)

actually, now that i think about it, you probably shouldn't be putting plays like this on an unknown. if you have a solid read and you believe that he'll give you cred. for a king or queen after the turn checkraise then go for it.

leading the river is bad IMO because he'll call with a lot of hands he'd bet the flop with (ace high, a seven, any pocket pair)
