Re: New room in AC
Dude, that stamp rules!
I finally got a Borgata card so maybe if I just keep that on the table from now on it'll be more convincing that I'm 21 and I'll stop getting IDed. My other idea is to just find a some place that makes rubber stamps to make one with the Borgata logo and I'll stamp myself before I go. (If anyone knows of a place where I can get a custom rubber stamp PM me because I would seriously like to be able to do that) |

Re: New room in AC
If anyone would know, it would be the dealers as they will most likely be made offers to switch to the new room, just as The Borgata raped and pilliaged all the dealers from the Taj and Trop when opening

[ QUOTE ]
I told him that I've been to the Showboat recently, and not only was there not a poker room, to the best of my knowledge, but there are also no table games any more (isn't it slots-only?). [/ QUOTE ] Nope. They're still running tables at Showboat, but they might as well not be -- 8-deck blackjack, craps, roulette, and all the stupid "poker" variants. They must be trying to play catch-up -- I can't figure they'll put a good room together, at least not right away. |

Re: New room in AC
yep saw some construction at showboat... a good plus is the harrahs system @ AC is very very good.. your talking free rooms very easily.. its insane
showboat isn't that bad, yes it does have an old crowd, kind of nausating compared to the borg, but if they put this PR in, it will get a different crowd. |

Re: New room in AC
Yeah, the Borg will have 100 more tables upstairs...I guess its a shame the "poker boom" happened after the Borg was built...they could have planned for a larger room downstairs. I do not personally like the loud slot machines and other distractions that are related with the pit.
Taj is my main place, but as soon as the new tables are at the Borg, everyone will flock there. |

Re: New room in AC
You heard correct.
A friend of mine ( a pro that could not make it )already inquired about a position as a dealer there. Showboat and Harrahs have an affiliation in AC. Once the WSOP becomes a big deal here, the casinos will shuttle players to and fro. |
