Default Pokerroom lag almost unbearable--anyone else?

For the past few months, the lag on Pokerroom has made multi-tabling quite difficult for me. I now find that three-tabling is out of the question, and two-tabling causes significant pauses now and then.

I think this may be a problem on my end because I'm getting more "Warning: Slow Connection" messages than ever before. But every other site where I play has little or no lag--the same as always. PR is the only problem.

Has anyone else noticed more lag on PR beginning in the fall? Might it have something to do with the addition of so many skins? TIA.

i don't play on pokerroom anymore but i used to two or three table there on the java version when i was at school.

i had no problem with lag but i was on a super fast internet connection and the computers were real fast also so i'm sure that helps.

It is more related to processor/system resources, and not actual lag. Try closing out any other programs you can live without, it will help. Running 5-6 tables w/PT and GT+ I run into these problems sometimes, but I can run 8 tables without PT/GT without many problems.

if he keeps giving you trouble try inducing more bluffs from him and calling him down lighter, many times with as little as A high. of course, when you get a good hand, pound away.
