Flop (board: 7c Tc 8h): villian 1 checks. villian 2 bets $7. hero calls. villian 1 calls. Turn (board: 7c Tc 8h 3h): villian 1 checks. villian 2 bets $45. hero goes all-in for $160.55. villian 1 folds. villain 2 calls. River (board: 7c Tc 8h 3h Jh): (no action in this round) Oppinions??? call may be weak preflop with my stack, but i am on the button. On the flop, im getting good odds to draw so i take them. On the turn they swell the pot to large enough that its worth trying to take it down. I figure i have a ton of fold equity against a huge range of hands. |

Re: Classic semi bluff
This is small stakes, but I don't like it. He's betting big into a PFR and cold caller? blah...
If you're gonna make a big move at this pot, it should be on the flop when he makes a weak bet, not on the turn when you whiff and he's getting more than 2 to 1 to call you. - C - |

Re: Classic semi bluff
this is small stakes. anyway, I don't like it. you don't have much folding equity on the turn and the 3 of hearts was a very harmless card for villain 2 if he had any sort of hand on the flop. what are you trying to represent on the turn? if i were villain 2, id call w/ any top pair or overpair type hand since your pretty much telling everyone that you have a big draw. if i were villain 2, id put you on a big draw or a very poorly slowplayed flopped set/straight and insta-call.
