Default ITM very short stacked...

Nevermind how I ended up here - that's another story. But, do you stop pushing and start trying to fold into 2nd?

I think AA or KK but stay away from anything else. I think first is nearly impossible, so I just want to fold into 2nd.

But maybe your best way to get second is to double up. On the other short stack's BB you are UTG right? I would quiet a few holdings to try and bust him, especially since you have more chips to begin with, if chip leader gets in that s a good sign for you has you'd be second if he wins it.

Ah, I should definitely add that the chip leader is min raising everything at this point.

I push, I WILL get called.

When UTG I would be pushing with quite a few hands because BB will obviously be priced in to call whatever. You only have to beat him to end up 2nd, don't care about big stack at this stage. Probably as high as top 30%?

That's interesting, Tigerite. I didn't play that way, although I did grab 2nd as I hoped. If I should, God forbid, end up in that situation again, I'll open up to a little more than the top 10%

I would push Ax, Kx, any two broadway or pocket pairs. You can't assume folding will get you second.

I think i would accualy call here.

If you push the shorty in the BB might fold with 20 chips left.
but if you call and he pushes his final 20 you can call, and think about folding if he folds. Then on the next hand you will both be all in but you will get second if your knocked out at the same time. This way no matter what you will at least be all in at the same time, and if you both get knocked out you get 2nd.
