Default controlling pot odds

lets saying your playing an aggressive player who bets his flush draws.. as long as hes betting amount to protect flush draws for you, its perfectly okay to just call the whole way then pop him at the river right?

If you could see his cards and he were infact on a draw, the right play is to raise.

Assuming these two factors are true, I don't see anything wrong with calling down.
1) You're sure he's on a draw, and not betting a made hand, meaning if he's got a flush draw and a pair and he's not giving you odds (pot or implied) to call, you shouldn't be calling.
2) Your draw is to the better flush (I'm assuming you'd do this with the nut flush draw or near it)

Did I completely misunderstand OP? As I understood it, Hero is not on a draw. Hero has a made hand?

It depends. OP is a little confusing and needs more information. Give a hypothetical hand or something to explain better.

I understood it as a very general theory question where Hero has a made hand and villian has a draw (which Hero knows for certain).

I understood OP's question the same way.

I agree that the proper course is to raise - once he bets, the money belongs to the pot, and just calling essentially gives him a free card. You want to charge him as much as possible to draw. A case can be made for calling the flop and waiting to raise on a safe turn, if you think that will get more money into the pot, but I think that would be a stretch. Waiting to pop it on the river makes no sense, because he will insta-fold any unmade flush.

ok ok so i made a bad post, hah, not well thought through..
im assuming i have something like top pair .. nothin too strong, nothin better htan the flush hes drawing to. but knowing this guy he will proably bet the turn again... if he misses.. so i guess popping him there would be the best spot... assuming it misses. or would it better to get that extra bet in and finish the hand by raising.. i dont know i guess its play that u can vary.. mix it up.
