Default Upgrading RAM(BUS)?

I have a Dell that's a few years old (1.8 GHz, 512 MB RAM). I have four slots for RAM, two of which are used by 256 MB cards. The type of RAM that I need is supposedly called RAMBUS or something like that. It's apparently not overly common.

Does anyone know where I can find some more of this? I have a ton of expenses coming up soon and don't really want to buy a new PC at the moment...I think a RAM upgrade will get me through another month or two until the storm passes.

Go to www.crucial.com or shop.kingston.com and put in your computer information and they will tell you what you need.

This is my favorite place to buy computer components. The prices really can't be consistently beat.

Link to their RAMBUS page:
