Default AA gets raised

Villian has played tight-aggressive (18% flops seen) so far and seems like a good player.

That's pretty clearly a shove. What is he calling that preflop raise with that is going to beat you here? KQs? I think you have him crushed. And if not, you have a very decent chance to hit your nut flush. All I'm really afraid of is 99, but I see him playing any pocket pair below yours with a diamond the same way.

The question is whether villain would raise 99 or 88. If not, you have almost nothing to worry about (maybe KQ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]). The raise sure looks like an effort to protect an overpair from a one card flush draw.

Anybody want to flat call the bet and raise/bet any turn?

OH BY THE WAY - NO WAY IN HELL I FOLD HERE

Thanx for all responses.

HERO is all-In [$566]
coin_flipper is all-In [$138.30]
** Dealing Turn ** [ Th ]
** Dealing River ** [ 6c ]
coin_flipper shows [ 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] three of a kind, fours.
HERO shows [ A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ] a pair of aces.
coin_flipper wins $799.60 from the main pot with three of a kind, fours.

Had him on JJ+ but even in worst case I had 35% chance of winning the pot so I guess I "knew" the push was correct...

Yeah you know you're never folding out a pair with that reraise.

Of course, and I definitely don't mind a pair calling.

...Or did you mean the preflop raise? Was it to small an amount? I had him on a high pair because he had rasied preflop something like 1.5% of his hands...

Yes, your preflop reraise is too small. I had a similar hand where I made a decent sized reraise with KK (although after working out the math, Villain was quite correct to call me with a pocket pair assuming he'd get my stack if he flopped a set) and Villain called with 66 (after he open raised preflop.) He hit a set and busted me on a ragged flop when I was sure I was up against QQ or JJ.
