Default I cold call three bets on the flop with Ace High...

Reads:
BB - 66/6
UTG - 74/23 - got caught bluffing several times during my session.
CO - 62/0 - calling station
Button - 15/4

Button most likely has a high pair. I was getting over 6:1 on a call, but cold calling three bets felt icky, especially since there was a remote chance I was drawing amost dead. Is capping better than calling? With people yet to act behind me, is this a fold?

i would have folded preflop.

and i would have bet the flop, trapping players and allowing button to raise his overpair (when he does have teh overpair).

you can't fold the flop, either. i like your play after you check. capping is dumb becase you're going to check the turn if you don't flush up.

I would fold A9s from SB, from BB it would be a clear call.

The way you played it, you can't fold the flop and calling is better than capping IMO because you don't want to lose BB. So other than pf (which ain't that bad), you played it fine.

Really, even with 3 limpers? I've been cold calling in these types of situations (multiple limpers then a raise) with Axs pretty regularly. May be a leak.

the problem is that you have such a passive guy raising and you're calling this from the sb, which means you're calling 1.5 sb instead of 1 sb (if you were in the BB). it's 7:1 in the sb vs. 11:1 in the bb. i think it's pretty close, but...

i would slightly worry about UTG limp-reraising (perhaps unwarranted), and i would also worry about sucking it up postflop when the preflop raiser has me dominated.

FLOP: I'd cap it because you might be able to get one or two folds and buy some outs for your A and 9 overcards. If they all call, your getting mega-value for your nut flush draw.

Four people already in and a decent chance for BB to come along for one bet with five people in to him, and you want to fold a possible top pair winner with nut flush possibilities for 1 1/2 small bets? No way do I fold here.

You're not thinking in the long term here. A9s is nice against a large field because of its flush potential, but most of the time (if you make anything at all) you'll just make a single weak pair. Also, the likelihood of being against a bigger Ace is high here. Better to fold and wait for a more profitable hand.

I think its a clear call here, I dont like the outs to the A or 9 much but you have a nut flush draw and at least 2 others are likely to stay in if you only call making the bet good value.

The only real worry is that the board is paired.
