Absolute interface is horrible
I feel like I am about to have a grand mal seizure and then my head is going to explode looking at their interface.
Any advice to get rid of the excess crap there. If I can't clean that interface up I do not think I can ever play there again. thnaks, MrX |

Re: Absolute interface is horrible
the interface is horrible, the players are worse. I block everyone's image but my own, makes it easier to find myself when multi-tabling. One of the nice things is you can buy in for much more $$ relative to the blinds in NL. You can see a lot of flops cheap and with the large stacks they pay off big when you hit.

Players are bad here. You may take a bad beat or two but eventually you will make some money. I have been playing absolute for two years now. I like the buy in structure and the above quote about turning off everyone's pic, when multi tabling, is a great tip for me. Now I just gotta get a pic up there and turn off everyone else's. Damn good tip. I can do 4 tables with no overlap, but it does seem to slow down. Once I leave a table and only play three tables I have no problems. The place is horrid, bad interface, bad players, but some damn good reload bonus money. This place is #1 for reloads. The money is too easy to pass up. |

Re: Absolute interface is horrible
While the Interface does look like a color by number that a 4 year old put together, Thus far it is the most passive site that I've ever played on.
Playing the NL with bb of .25 and starting with 200 BB is pretty sweet. Being able to limp in most any pot is also nice. didn't play long enough to get to the point where my system came to a crawl, but i'm sure that will be an annoyance that I have to deal with later |

Re: Absolute interface is horrible
Today was my first time 3-tabling and I see what all the hub-bub is about. It was definitely crawling along. I'd try to check my raked hand status in the cashier window and would have to minimize it and let it run a few minutes just so it would load.

Right click each player, and select "Block Image". I think this is persistent, so the next time you see that player at a different table, the image should still be blocked. Eventually, you should have blocked most of the players you encounter. -Mike |

Re: Absolute interface is horrible
How do you block other people's images at the table?

Re: Absolute interface is horrible
Right click over image, select block image. I do it to everyone I ever see at a table just so I know I have played them before and have stats on them in PT. I don't think PT's export notes works well with Absolute and I'm too lazy too manually write the numbers in the notes section.
