Do you push this on the flop? yes folding is correct. You would need to be offered 4:1 to make this call and you're getting more like 2:1. If you wanna try playing this a different way you could have pushed the flop.

yeah, folding is right. i dont get the confusion. he made a good bet if he knew what your hand was. best case scenario you have 12 outs getting about 2-1 on the turn. the implied odds arent great since your straight draw will be very obvious and might cost you chips against 88. you cant assume he'll pay off a big bet if another club hits.
