no way he open completes preflop with an A.

The way Phil plays heads up limit can be strange to say the least. I've seen him limp/call from the button with hands like A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] before.

You can 5-bet on HU tables at UB?

[/ QUOTE ]

pretty sure unlimited raising.

[/ QUOTE ]No. It is either a 6 or 8 bet cap. I'm pretty sure it's a 6 bet cap.

Come on, no Hellmuth hand history is complete without the post-hand chat transcript.

He's still going (2-4 Omaha). How long's this been going, is eugene up or down?

I think eugene is up like a little bit over every game they've played. Last night they played almost every game UB offers.

Pretty funny.

What's the big deal? Phil played this one good, IMO, unless he had a busted straight flush draw, in which case he should bet the river to hopefully fold another flush draw. I suspect Phil had a big enough diamond draw that he thought it might be good. Actually, the fact that the turn went the way it did would suggest that eugene has a real hand and not a draw, so Phil knows that he's not folding, so giving up is fine. The fact that he doesn't give that kind of action often makes it even better. This is a high stakes headsup game, and while Phil is usually live, this wasn't the case here.

its impossible for phil to have flopped a straight flush draw that isn't good on that board on the river. A6d is my guess.
