Default Shares halted!

Back in may, I bought some shares from Magistral Biotech (MBS from TSX Venture Exchange). Since that, these shares kept falling and now they are "halted" at 0.06$. The reason seem to be that Magistral Biotech cant pay their debts anymore and that they will be acquired by another company. I would like to know what that exactly means (will lose thoses shares? are they still worth 0.06$?). I provided a link to the news release that explain it all.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

From the release...

[ QUOTE ]
Magistral has made a request to the exchange in order that the trading of its shares on the exchange be halted until the closing of the proposed transaction, in order to facilitate its completion.

[/ QUOTE ]

It simply means that you won't be able to trade the shares until the transaction closes. You will probably receive a package of info explaining the impact of the merger and asking you to vote for it.
