IRC Rant

Okay, for the most part I have been one to avoid bitching on the issue at hand, but some cuntrag thought it would be okay to completely ban me from irc.efnet.net.

I haven't spammed, I haven't cluttered things up, and I haven't been vile to anyone.

But since I had a discussion/argument with El D, and half of the IRC'ers follow him like he is Jesus, people have been banning me for NO REASON. Even changing my status from 'away' to 'ClaytonN' has gotten me banned from people like khole and kipin.

This wasn't too bad, though, as I had better discussions with more friends (and less dickheads) in the sstakes section of IRC.

Now, I've been COMPLETELY banned from IRC, so now I can't even talk with my friends in sstakes. All because I had a disagreement with El Diablo.

The whole lot of you who praise him and abuse your op powers should be shot. That is all.

F*ck IRC. There are many nice people there, but the immature bunch that abuse the banning powers just make it not-worthwhile. I suppose I dug my own grave my disagreeing with the Dalai-Lama of 2+2, but if that's worth getting effectively removed from IRC, then I don't want to be there. I've got better things to do than deal with this bullsh*t.

Oh man, I haven't been on IRC for a few days. Sounds like I've missed some funny stuff.

Were I to be a third party in the issue, I would think this was funny as hell. Sadly, I'm not.

Yes, I couldn't even connect to efnet, the error message was (BANNED)

But it is fixed now (thanks to whoemever it was), but I'm now going to a fireworks show and then headed to UGA for a 2-day orientation... so thanks to whoever got it fixed.

You were never banned. You just tried to connect to one of the efnet server that bans your ip range/isp.

FWIW, I was talking to a friend who knows this stuff, and he agreed with me in that you probably didnt get banned from EFNet (its unlikely someone here has that power), you were simply banned from stakes and twoplustwo
