Re: What is your longest session playing live?
About 20 hours. Got out of work at 4, started at 5pm Friday and played til 1p.m. Saturday. I came back at midnight and played til about 6am Sunday morning. A friend of mine got there about an hour before I did Friday afternoon and was there when I left my second session early Sunday morning.
I love it when I sit at a table with a dealer, that dealer goes home, then comes back the next day for another shift and I'm still at the same table. |

Nine hours, and that probably included a break for food.

Thursday afternoon (5 p.m.) to Monday night (11 p.m.) on my very first mid-limit experience when I was 19. My Vegas trips usually are about 48 hr sessions. [/ QUOTE ] 106 hours straight? I call Bull****. |

Played 60 hours at Foxwoods once and about 50 in AC once, don't try driving or anything after that.

OK, so now a follow up question, do you go by yourself of with buddies? The reason i left at 2am is cuz the buddy i was with plays blackjack only so he was done pretty fast, whereas, i was playing 2/4 limit which is alot slower paced than BJ. Here's my confession, I've actually gone to the casino by myself, only once. Felt weird at first, but also felt good not to have someone you came with waiting for you to finish. I actually prefer going to play by myself? Do i have serious gamlbing issues? [/ QUOTE ] i almost always go by myself. going to the casino with other people is such a fuking hassle. i use to go a lot with other people back then when i wasn't really that serious with my game. heres what usually happened: we drive for 2 hours, actually its more like i drive for 2 hours. they buy in for some ridiculiously small amount then inevitablly bust out in like 20 mins. then they'll want to leave. its such a pain. i feel like i have to fuking babysit. its so much better to go by yourself. i go when i want. i play for as long as i want. and i leave when i want. total freedom. |

Re: What is your longest session playing live?
i use to play some crazy sessions. longest was 24 hours. yea that was not fun... then having to drive for 2 hours. worst feeling ever.
i have made it a policy of mine to not exceed 12 hours. i have experienced that once you get past 12 hours, you start making mistakes. i have misread hands, misread the board, folded my blind, stuff like that. |

Re: What is your longest session playing live?
if this was that card game, i would then turn over all four of my aces and stick you with the pot.
by 6th grade i had stayed up for 3 days straight so it's no big deal to me, i've never slept much since i can remember. my brother came to the casino on that monday morning to get me to leave but wound up staying and playing the whole day/night. i can remember with exceptional clarity the feeling i had in my chest on monday, i thought i was having a heart attack. when we left, him in his car and me in mine to make the 3 hr. drive back home i couldn't focus/breath anything, like i said i thought i was dying so i pulled over after 20 minutes of following him home and passed out for a few hours. |

32 hours. With a couple of lunch breaks. It was sick but the game was great. I was at the Taj.
