SS Reform Dec06 Contracts

Dec06 SS Reform Contracts (will have reform bill passed by Dec06) are currently trading at 8% chance to pass (bid). Is this worth taking?

Well, that's what, 11.5-1? I'd be a seller until it gets down to 4%, and I wouldn't buy until it got to 2% (50-1).

how are they defining reform? have not followed any news of this as I travel thru asia.

i suspect there will be some tinkering otherwise even 50 to 1 is a bad price for real reform (preferably throw it overboard without any floatation).

I was thinking something similair. It is a long time to lock my money up without interest though now that I think about it.

I think the SS are way beyond reform.
