$11:Strategy for later levels
I'm in the midst of about a 20 buyin downturn and thinking my late game strategy is flawed. I generally like to wait for a couple of decent high cards before I attempt a blind steal. For instance would anyone try for a steal on this hand?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (7 handed) converter SB (t1910) BB (t635) UTG (t1435) MP1 (t975) MP2 (t1120) Hero (t720) Button (t1205) Preflop: Hero is CO with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 4 folds, Button calls t150, SB completes, BB checks. I realize this is read dependent but in general do you push any 2 if its folded to you and your at level 5. |

Re: $11:Strategy for later levels
I generally wouldn't attempt a steal in this spot. The BB is short stacked, and his calling standards should likely be much looser. I'd try to find a better hand within the next three to push on.
