Jetset. I love it.

What a retro site.

I miss it. Such cool little pictures.

Hi,
I had almost the exact same scenario in the first SnG I´ve ever played, at Betsson (Pokerroom skin) last week.
At Betsson you start with 1500 in chips instead of the 800 you get at Party.

$5+0,50. 2:nd hand of the tourney.
I´m UTG with AA and I raise 6BB (t120). A player in MP calls.
Flop comes Jc 9h 2c
I check (had some respect for the clubs) and MP bets 2BB (t40). I think he would have bet stronger if he was on a club-draw so I pushed it all in and he calls with Jd 3d.
The Turn was 7h and the River Js.

Did I play this hand to aggressively with 2 clubs on the board? Or was it just stupid? Or maybe.......??

Any advice would be helpful.

This option.

You simply cannot check just because there are two clubs on the board. That's horrible. Maybe with three, but I'd still fire. Then the massive overpush is pretty bad too. Bet out 200 or so. If called, pot or push the turn.

This should be reversed, because you respect the clubs, you should bet him right now to make it bad for him to draw to those clubs if he has them.

Yes, you are completely backwards on this. You can't let people draw for free.

Hi. As a very active, thinking, learning poker player for 10+ years, I think your play was very sound, no matter what the outcome was. I would have to assume (ass u me ?) you were against a range of hands like AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, AKs, AKo, AQs, AQo, AJs, ATs, KQs, etc, etc. Only two of those are really bad for you. Have a nice day!

I have no idea how many chips you start with at Jetset, but the pot was 800 on his action. Unless they start you with 2500+ chips that isn't an overpush.
