Default Quick who bets this flop?

I raise 88, one coldcaller and the two blinds

Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I don't have a heart.

You could bet. The thing about this flop is when you are ahead they will often just give it to you because AJ with a PFR is scary. That means I may not have to risk as much to take advantage of having the best hand. Reads would help enormously here. So would knowing what seats the coldcaller and I are in. Ideally I would want to be UTG for maximum credibility.

Bit of size in the pot, I think its worth a bet.

A much harder question is, do we fire the second barrel?

From the way you phrased this, I assume that the blinds both checked on the flop and that you are in mp or co. If so, I bet.

Yes I'm in MP and it's checked to me.

-I'll take down this pot with a flop bet approx. 0% of the time. I'll have callers and I don't know if they are crushing me (with a J) or drawing very live.
-There is a chance my flop bet will be raised with a currently inferior holding
-I have 2 outs to improve, 1 of them might be tainted.

if u think this is the case, why did you even post this?

youre getting 8:1 to take it down outright (of course you could still win sometimes after getting action), and i think thats probably enough in many games. if everyone is giving loose loose action postflop, check it. sure.

sounds to me you have already answered your own question. If there is no chance you take this down with a CB check fold.
