Default 55

UTG here is loose and bad but can get aggro.
Canterbury 30/60 (9 handed)
UTG limps, 1 fold, I limp 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2 good players fold, a loose dummy calls, blinds call.

Flop (5 players):4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

blinds check, UTG bets, I raise, folds to UTG who calls.

Turn (HU) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG checks, I bet, UTG thinks and calls clearly in pain.

River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG checks, I check

I bet the river, and get paid off by any ace. I pay off a raise against this opponent.

I might fold preflop as well. Depending on aggression and looseness of players behind me. Is this call standard or just fit with the way the table was playing?

I hated the call. I hated all my options, actually.

I'd limp here everytime. Even if it gets raised, it's no that bad because you are getting more than enough odds to draw to a set with at least 3 and probably more players coming in.

Easy ass call pre-flop and bet the river hoping to get paid off by an ace. Checking is just fine though so don't sweat it.

You can fold to a raise, too. EZ.

You always limp behind a limper with 55? What factors determine weather you limp this, fold this, and raise this, after an utg limper. Obviously sometimes each of the 3 is an option.

Unless you think he's acting you MUST bet this river. He's not raising (unless he was just putting on a show) and you'll get paid off by a worse hand much more often than you'll get shown 77.

Just my fifteen-hundredth of a big bet.

most middle limit live games are loose passive enough to make 55 playable after one UTG limper IMO. I don't like it as a default if you're playing online but here it works.
