You play how many tables??????
I see a good # of you play 4 6 or even 8 SH handed tables.
HOW THE F*$! do you do it???? I play 2 and many of my decisions are based on the player I am facing. Player A: I always call down this player with any pair or A high, he bluffs a lot. Player B: This player raises I fold, but I velue bet at him much more than normal because he will call down with K high. Sometimes my play standards are so different from one player to the next. How the hell can you keep an eye on all these players SH playing 4-8 tables????? Are all your actions just automatic because you guys played so many hands? I almost think about every move I make to maximize profits or save money. I write notes on how long they delay in thinking so I can tell when they are on a draw, bluff, or real hand. I write details about their raising and bluffing standards. Like one player I know will ALWAYS reraise the flop with A high. How can you keep track of this playing 4 tables. I feel like Im missing out on mo money I tried 4 tables and my brain overloads. I can barely do 3. |

Re: You play how many tables??????
I play 1-4 depending. Usually only 1 table if I'm reading/posting on the forums or checking e-mail etc. I can concentrate enough on my game & have enough time for other stuff.
When I'm playing to play - Min. 2 tables, usually 3. Many times when playing PP, I will 3-table & open a 4th of Om Hi/Lo or a Jackpot table(if the jackpot is 100k+). If you are good at 2 tables & not comfortable with more, stick with it. There is no doubt the less tables you play the better you should be playing at each table. I think the general idea behind playing lots of tables is that you give up a small edge in return for a huge increase in volume. Maybe you make 1.8BB/100 when 6 table, as opposed to 2BB/100 when you 2 table. Simple math says the first makes a lot more money. |

Four. Reads are a luxury past a vague idea of preflop standards.
I want to add more eventually, though. That or move up. |

Re: You play how many tables??????
4 is fairly easy once you get used to it. 6 was tough for me- i think i could do it consistantly if my screens didn't have so much overlap (my max res is 1024x768). one day i will get off my ass and invest in a real system, since its my job and all.

Re: You play how many tables??????
I play 2, 3, or 4, depending on how quick my mind is working at the time. I only ever lose, though, so maybe I should 0 table from now on.

Re: You play how many tables??????
I play 4 and watch a DVD on my 2nd monitor.
The DVD is so I don't get bored. (nothing real useful to add... just bragging. ) |
