Default Standard fold with 99?

This felt a little funny. Just sat down; no reads.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I prefer raising the flop.

With a double raise behind you, folding is the standard play.

Here are the strange results.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Flop: (10 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP raises, SB 3-bets, Hero folds, MP caps, SB folds.

Final Pot: 9 BB

Turns out these two were complete clowns... I bet one had K high and the other A high. If that.

yeah, raise flop... you can't give SB credit for an overpair at this point, and if you are in fact ahead your hand is likely pretty vulnerable.

BTW, please tell me that Play poker like the Pros isn't really your bible
