Wow, I can't believe people play these. Must be nice to have money to burn.

Must be nice to have money to win even more?
My guess is that most people who plays these big trnies are winning players overall.

I think you are absolutely right, but thats the reason why playing the 5000$ heads-up isnt reasonable. I mean come on, how could you even think that playing heads-up against erik123 for example could be +ev? If neverwin plays 20 matches against him, I think there is some part of "having fun and blowing money" involved too, because it is clear that he will lose.

One of the times I saw one of these available on Stars, there was some nobody named EDAWG who had ponied up the 5k and was waiting on a taker. Man, that guy must really think he can play poker to put 5k up like that! Fools....
