Thats still comparitivley low. But if your results fit your style of play and you are consistently winnig, i don't see why you should change it. My only advice would be to be more agressively preflop when opening from the CO/Button, trying stealing more, and that'll probably boost your VPIP.

i'm at 4bb/100 over the past 11,000 hands ( ie: i'm running very hot ) and i feel like i am being pretty aggro PF but i'm working on being more aggressive and trying to understand and realize what players i should be aggressive into. i got kinda killed in a session last night because i was at a table that was so donkish that when i raised A7o in the CO, everyone called the majority of the time and then i was left confused.

on the button? really? you don't think you've ever seen that?

5/10 full i think you're pretty close...

as for your A7o example... it's all about the situation. when you can steal the blinds a decent percentage of the time, your play there is fine. some tables its not. sometimes the right table turns into the wrong table for a play as people adjust.

i promise one day you'll be sitting on the button with T8o on a juicy table and there'll be some crappy limpers and you'll say to yourself: "self, my only edge is position... but that's enough" and you'll click that call button.

then you'll flop top pair, get drawn out on, and swear to never do it again. but that's another story.

Work on your postflop play more; eventually you'll feel so comfortable that you won't have to worry about what your preflop VPIP is.

What's your folded BB to steal and folded SB to steal? Those might be good places for you to loosen up more.

Over 30k + hands at PP 2/4 I'm a 17.5/13. I'm beating the game quite well. I don't think I can really find that many more places to play hands. Unless I start playing OOP which I really hate.
