Default interesting aces hand.

11pm Sahara tourney, friday night. UTG with Aces. I have 2700 in checks. blinds are 25/50. I make it 400 to go, not really wanting to [censored] around with these weak tight players. late position shorty makes it 600 all in, and the big blind calls 550. Of course, because the 600 wasn't a complete raise, I can't reraise so we go to the flop. The flop is 543, and the big blind fires 500 almost immediately. I knew this guy was a bad player, so I didn't put him on a set, but maybe i should have. I pushed, he immediately calls and flips up 44.

The upshot of this is that I maybe should've paid more attention to the amount of my raise in relation to the short stack. The short stack was going to move with anything and if I had raised with LESS, like 300, I could've reraised. The big blind said he would've easily mucked with 44 if I was able to go all in over the top.
