just saw the first trailer for Peter Jackson's "King Kong," and I have to admit...I'm underwhelmed.

The CGI looks particularly fake. Hope it's just cause it's an early trailer....

Now THERE'S a film that needs to be re-made.

Is it possible that every idea possible for a movie has already been conceived? And there is NOTHING else for the industry to do, but re-do the old ideas?

This has been getting worse every year, but this summer is just ridiculous. Batman, War of the Worlds, Herbie, Dukes of Hazzard...Jesus Christ, Dukes of Freaking Hazzard???
