eventually, all of them. [/ QUOTE ] hmm.. definately not true. there are over 90 casinos in oklahoma and I know that all of the big ones will eventually have TABLE games, but not poker. and don't forget about all of the podunk indian bingo halls/casinos. they will probably just stick to the slots. |

Winstar is set to open in April [/ QUOTE ] They told me yesterday that the current target date is May 1. In another thread (probably next page or so) there is a list of several OK casinos that currently have poker. The big one in Tulsa does. I believe Shawnee does. There are also a couple of other places in NE OK. I think there might have been one down around Lawton, but check the other thread to find out for sure. Also, Thunderbird is aiming for April 8, I believe (or around then...I can't remember). |

Where is Thunderbird located?
I am eagerly awaiting WinStar. Watch people all drive to exit 1 on the weekend once the poker tables start there. |

[/ QUOTE ] Thunderbird is a few miles east of Norman on HW9. Probably 12-15 miles off the interstate, give or take a few. And traffic on 35 around Winstar is bad enough already with the whole 1 lane thing they've got going on right now. My sister is applying for a job at Winstar, but even if she gets it, she probably won't be working there until after the poker room opens. If she is, though, maybe she can keep me up to date. Also, the thread I mentioned above can be found here. |
