Default Oklahoma Poker Rooms

Does anyone know of a website where I can find a complete list of Oklahoma poker rooms? It is my understanding that the only ones currently open are Firelake in Shawnee and the Cherokee in Tulsa. Does anyone have any info on these (quality of games, etc.)?

I am located 30 miles from Durant. Does anyone know if Choctaw is planning on opening a poker room? I imagine Winstar in Thackerville will be especially good.

Any info is appreciated.

I've called winstar several times and they are going to implement blackjack before poker. They said around March. I expect that room to be great since it's so close to Dallas. I called Firelake yesterday and they are playing play money games right now. Many of the tribes have already signed a compact with the state but are waiting for it to be published in the Federal register, whatever that means. It looks like Cherokee will be the first one to open.

Oooo, how close from Dallas? Why can't there be any decent poker rooms next to Texas? Shreveport is horrid.

The Winstar is right across the red river in Oklahoma off of I 35. Just got back from the hollywood in Shreveport and it was horrid. Smoking at the tables trash everywhere and incredible waits. I did like the dealers. I was told the Horse shoe is opening a nice room there.

Hollywood in Shreveport sucks. I have waited 3 hours for a table before there. I have heard the Horseshoe rumor for 6 months. Don't know if there are other legal issues or not because only HW has poker in Shreveport. The gaming commission may have stricker guidelines for poker. Does anyone know?

Can't wait for the Oklahoma poker rooms to open.

People at the hollywood were saying mid to late Feb for the Horseshoe. Prob the same time winstar is gonna open. Also alot of the regulars at Hollywood said the waits would be just as long at the Horseshoe. Also when Winstar room opens it will be a mega cluster for a while if your in DFW I suggest you play in Shreveport for a while.

Maybe we'll have to get a group trip together once the poker rooms are up an running. How far will the closest one be from Austin?
