Default quick hand analysis

First hand at 15/30 the other day.

I am big blind with 10c/10s. Fold around to button who raises. I 3-bet.

Flop jd/7c/2h

I lead he calls

turn 9d

I bet, quick call

River 8/d

I?

On a board like that he's very likely to check most hands he would call with, and check raising loses you the most when you're beat. Bet-call. Check-calling is scared poker.

I know it should be pretty standard, but I thought that his quick call on the turn probably meant he picked up the diamond draw or had two overs...Once the diamond lands on the river I was probably 70% sure that he made the flush with 6 BB in the pot. Anyway I bet/3bet, he fourbet I call
and sure enuff.....

I just thought that maybe I should have check called the river

I know it was a boring hand, but I thought I played it badly
