Default 2nd Hand Of NL Tourney, Kings w/ 10 Kicker

I am currently playing a Poker Stars freeroll. One of the players I knocked out (the hand after this) was one that I knew from cash games. They play reckless and will call top pair with any kicker. I got involved with this player on the second hand of the tournament.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

CO (t1500)
Button (t1490)
SB (t1610)
BB (t1500)
Hero (t1500)
UTG+1 (t1500)
MP1 (t1500)
MP2 (t1400)
MP3 (t1500)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero calls t20, 6 folds, SB completes, 1 fold.

Flop: (t60) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets t100, Hero raises to t1000, SB calls t900.

Turn: (t2060) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets t590 (All-In), Hero calls t480 (All-In).

River: (t3130) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t3130

Well, yeah, it was kind of stupid, but I milked it for all possible. I had a read on this person from cash games and thought that he might have a pair of kings with no kicker, or possibly middle pair.

Yeah. I figured he'd have a much lower kicker, but I still ended up winning.

What, are you playing at my table or something?

KQ/K8/K6/K4 all beat you. Still a good guess though, I'd say.

You had a read on him that he was a cash game player? I hope you also had a read that he didn't know how to adjust his game to tourney play - otherwise, assuming that he's treating a tournament like a cash game is quite dangerous.

The raise to 1000, seems really really donkish. But it worked. 99% of the time, it doesn't work.

Yeah, I did. Besides, the fact that this is a freeroll makes people move in with any hand. I had QJs and lost a four-way all-in pot to two dry aces and a 9-3 offsuit. Luckily, I was the big stack so I wasn't knocked out.

No, the low buy-ins you see a lot of stuff like this. There was a very similar hand I posted a couple weeks back:
