perfecting my HU play
Table has been slightly tight for the 30+ hands I have been sitting. CO tends to be aggressive.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO calls, 3 folds. Flop: (5.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls. Turn: (5.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, CO raises, Hero? Fold or call down a non spade, non ace river? Give reasons behind your thinking. |

Re: perfecting my HU play
I'd muck it without a strong read.
Most players who "tend to be aggressive" really aren't that aggressive with a marginal hand when they're faced with that much aggression; so I doubt he has a marginal hand. |

Re: perfecting my HU play
Man, I'm a spewer in HU. If villian had a PP worth playing, he'd 3 bet the flop unless he decided to slowplay a monster like AA, so I don't think he has a set. I put him on a OC's with one high flush card or a made flush. So you're either beat or vulnerable to 15 outs, plus the chance he has a set, some big OP, or A9s makes me think 4.5:1 isn't worth calling down.

Re: perfecting my HU play
Stop-n-Go'd on a somewhat dangerous board. I lay this down.
