People who use this tragedy to push some silly political agenda are the lowest of the low.

Personal (9/11) and national (9/11) tragedy should (9/11) never be used (9/11) to promote (9/11) a political agenda (9/11)...

Yeah, it was pretty scummy of the Kerry campaign to flak those New Jersey mothers last year, to make it look like he had the support of the victims families.

All politicians, regardless of what party they belong to, need to be held accountable for their actions.

You know how I feel, BGC.
Both sides do this stuff, and it's always sad to see.

I completely agree, all efforts should go into relief. Although eventually it will have to be addressed to prevent these catastrophes from happening in the future.

Bush was quoted yesterday as saying "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees." However, in 2001 it was identified by FEMA as one of the top three likeliest major disasters to strike America.

WTF? Money was siphoned from programs that would actually protect american citizens to fund putting up a bunch of Orwellian cameras and a no bid war. What's political about pointing out the sheer stupidity of such a move?
